Founded in 1988, Taylor Environmental Group, Inc. (TEG) is a New York-based environmental consulting firm providing investigation, testing, and compliance support for construction, redevelopment, design-build, and climate resiliency projects. With a team of licensed professionals and an in-house microscopy laboratory, TEG delivers accurate data, fast turnaround, and practical, turnkey support from project initiation through abatement and construction.

 

Core services include environmental site investigations, building records research, sample collection and analysis, remediation design packages, and abatement oversight. TEG specializes in asbestos, lead-based paint, PCB-containing materials, mold, indoor air quality, and Community Air Monitoring Plans (CAMPs).

 

We work with contractors, design-build teams, building owners, and public agencies to meet NYS and NYC regulatory requirements, reduce risk, and maintain project schedules across renovation, demolition, and construction projects.

Our in-house microscopy laboratory is accredited by the NYS Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (‘ELAP’), and the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (‘NVLAP Lab Code 102101-0).

As a NYS / NYC / Nassau County WBE, Taylor Environmental Group, Inc. has performed environmental consulting services as a prime consultant, and as a sub-consultant for A&E firms working directly for NYS / NYC agencies and authorities such as the NYC School Construction Authority, DASNY, OGS, and others.

The company maintains a NYS DOL Asbestos Handling License (#28622), a NYS DOL Mold Assessor License (#00206), a US EPA License to Conduct Lead-Based Paint Activities (#LBP-14135-1).
